Treat your family to a memorable 2-hour Discover Kelowna Bike Tour.
Enjoy a delicious coffee at one of our local partner coffee shops, soak in some waterfront views, and learn about the rich history and happenings of Kelowna. We will pedal our way through the heart of Kelowna’s Downtown cultural district. This tour focuses on the background of Kelowna’s downtown, and development into the tourism powerhouse that it is today. Get a chance to pedal the Smile Cycle Tours beer bike without the beer. If you’re looking for a family-oriented, non-alcohol option, the Discover Kelowna Bike Tour is a great option for you. Furthermore, it’s a great tour to make family memories and take photos. To help you with this, we’d love to be your smartphone photographer. Please don’t hesitate to ask us to take photos for you.
To get started, you will need a minimum of six pedaling adults or adolescents in order to comfortably move the bike forward. If you are all from one bubble, we can accept up to twelve individuals on one bike. As per provincial health orders, we are only able to accept single-party groups at this time. We hope to return to smaller, mixed group offerings in 2022. All ages are welcomed on this tour, however, please note that pedal seats are not adjustable. A marvel of engineering in its own right, our pedal bike is built for durability, not customizability. We say this for our shorter and taller riders alike, however, we know from experience you’ll have a blast regardless of this seat limitation. We know this because, over the years, we’ve had lots of individuals of all sizes aboard.
For those that are unable to pedal due to mobility issues or injury, there is a bench on the back of the bike with easy loading and unloading. When we say all ages are welcomed, we mean it. Our eldest guest to date was a spry 94 years of age. If you have any questions about the Discover Kelowna Bike Tour, please give us a call.
Please note this tour does not appear in our regular tour schedule and runs on a request basis only. To arrange a tour, simply contact us to discuss availability. Finally, if there’s anything else we haven’t mention, again, please reach out to us via email, phone, or text message to our main business line. We look forward to having you aboard!
